PowerSchool for Parents |
|
Parents and students
attending classes here will have the
opportunity to gain access to an innovative new computer
program called PowerSchool. This program provides parents
with the chance to access up-to-the-minute grades their
children are earning in each of their classes. In addition,
PowerSchool shows how many times students have been absent
during the year, any projects or assignments that haven't
been completed or are missing, and other school information
that parents might find useful. Parents can access this
information from any computer with Internet capability, with
the service available twenty-four hours a day and seven days
a week.
Starting 2nd
Semester 2007 we will have Glenview School available for
access. You will receive login information along with
your students report card. Elementary school parents
will be notified when access to this system is available.

PowerSchool for Teachers
 |
|
PowerSchool is
a typical student information system in that it allows us to
manage a wide range of information, including grades,
attendance, tests, demographics, activities, courses, and
photos. Because the program has been designed using modern
software tools, it also allows us to connect parents and
students to information. We hope the powerful communications
features of the program are helpful to parents and to
students who are striving to learn and exceed their dreams.

PowerSchool
Office Staff |
| We have
implemented PowerSchool throughout the District as a
replacement for the MacSchool program. This powerful
new web-based technology will allow district-wide access to
a single server via the internet, as well as provide
parents, students and teachers access to the information. |
