10-22-21 Announcements -Mrs. Hill is excited to start teaching the 5th grade Mariachi students next week. If you haven’t signed up yet please come see Mrs. Hill in room 296 or have your teacher email her to get signed up. -7th and 8th grade cheerleading tryouts have been changed to next week - Thursday October 28th and Friday October 29th from 2:30-4pm. You must attend both days. An activity bus will be available. Tryouts will be in the East Gym. A sports physical is required to participate. If you have questions about cheerleading or basketball try-outs, please e-mail Mr. Wils at [email protected]. -8th graders, do you want to go to Washington D.C. to see the Capitol, the White House, and the Spy Museum?! Then invite your parents to come to our informational Zoom meeting on next Tuesday, October 26 at 7 pm! Email Miss Harvey or Miss Schimmel for the Zoom link or if you have any questions. Mrs. Campbell contacted your parents about this change. -Today is the last day for Latinx Workshop and One By One members to pay their $10 fee for our university visit. You must speak or email Mrs. Mojica today to remain on the trip. -Attention 5th grade: 5th grade Mariachi class DURING the school day will start 2nd quarter. Students will use school owned instruments. One to two performances will be required as part of their class grade. The first 25 students to sign up will be registered for this exciting class! Please bring your journal and something to write with. -One By One will meet tomorrow after school in the library. Come meet your study squad! -Soccer practice is cancelled today due to the weather forecast. We will resume practice on Monday, October 18th. For next week, there will be a slight change. On Mondays, only 5th graders will stay after school for soccer practice, and on Wednesdays only 6th graders will stay after school for soccer practice.
