Bowlesburg Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures
Health & Safety Precautions For The Upcoming Year

We are excited to begin a new school year on Wednesday, August 11th. Here are a few reminders for the start of the year:
Students may enter the school starting at 8:00 a.m. A Grab-n-Go breakfast will be served between 8:00 and 8:20 a.m. Morning meetings in the classroom start at 8:20 and any student not in class by 8:30 a.m. will be counted absent or tardy. Dismissal begins at 2:55 pm. Please remember that the first day of school is a 1 hour early dismissal at 1:55.
Parent drop-off and pick-up is along the circular drive by our blacktop/playground area. Please follow staff directions and pull up as far as possible to allow as many cars to drop-off or pick-up as possible.
We are no longer requiring a Self-Certification “Golden ticket” this year. Please call the school nurse if your child is experiencing symptoms.
We will not be using drinking fountains this year, so please send your child with a water bottle to keep on their desk. We have bottle fill stations they can use throughout the school.
Students and staff are required to wear masks in the building and maintain 3 feet social distance. Visitors are not allowed in the building at this time.
Please have your student come to school each day with their Chromebook charged. Kindergarten, 1st Graders, and students new to the district will be getting their Chromebooks in their classrooms the first week of school.
At this time all class lists are entered into our Skyward database. Please access your Skyward Family Access account and click on the “Schedule” tab to see your child’s assigned teacher.

Reminder that Online Registration will close at midnight on August 3rd. If you need help registering, please attend in-person registration at Glenview on August 3rd from 11am-7pm. All registration information can be found here: https://www.emsd37.org/article/493720
Community Health Care and EMSD will be hosting on-site school physicals at Glenview Middle School Tuesday, August 3rd from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, during in-person registration. As a reminder, all entering Kindergarten and 6th grade students must have updated school physicals. This is also a great opportunity for anyone who is in need of a sports physical.
Parent / guardian must be present and bring insurance information.
