Dear East Moline School District Families:
This year all of our elementary schools will be celebrating fall festival activities on Friday, October 28th as a way to celebrate together as a school community. On Monday, October 31st we will follow our normal schedule for a typical day of student attendance (we will not be wearing costumes or having Halloween parties). Some schools also have other fall activities happening during the next few weeks - watch for communications from your child’s building about these activities!
We know that celebrations in school offer an opportunity for celebrating and building community, and we want to be sure that these celebrations offer opportunities for all students to feel included. If you would like to share ideas on how we can celebrate holidays in the East Moline School District, please plan to join us at one of our upcoming community conversations. All families, staff, and community members are welcome.
