Shout-out to our 3rd grade artists that have been selected to have their artwork displayed at the Figge Art Museum. Visit the museum in person or virtually on their website March 13-21 to enjoy the Young Artist Exhibition. Starting with the 4th Quarter of our school year, the East Moline School District will return to 4 days of in-person instruction for those who choose to attend. https://www.emsd37.org/article/417577

Hillcrest students each received a free book at school last week in coordination with our Readers are Leaders initiative and to celebrate Read Across America. A big thanks to AFSCME Local 46 at the East Moline Correctional Center, President Cody Dornes, Jayne O’Brien, and Greg Johnson for believing in the power of reading. Strong Readers, make Stronger Leaders! Please try and read every day for at least 20 minutes! Remote students can pick up their book at Hillcrest during remote distribution later in the month.

We are excited to celebrate Mr. Ebener in our Hillcrest Spotlight. Mr. Ebener is our School Social Worker that goes above and beyond for students and families. Free Developmental Screenings for children ages 3-5 years old.

We are excited to celebrate Ms. Leal in our Hillcrest Spotlight. Ms. Leal is a bilingual, third grade teacher that goes above and beyond for students and families.
