What an incredible week celebrating Read Across America! Our school was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed many special guest readers into our classrooms. It was truly a joy to see our students so engaged and enthusiastic about reading!
We are so grateful for the time and dedication of all our volunteers who helped make this week such a memorable one. Your passion for reading is contagious, and you have truly made a difference in the lives of our students.
Did you know that reading to children for just 20 minutes a day during their first five years can significantly improve their language and literacy skills, as well as their overall cognitive development?
We encourage all of our families to continue reading with your children every day! Happy reading! #EMSD37Pride #growingthroughPLAY #READon

As School Social Work Week comes to a close, we want to shine a bright light on our very own Ms. Hoffman!
A school is more than just classrooms—it’s a community. Whether Ms. Hoffman is advocating for students, supporting our staff, or navigating important work with our families, she does it all with compassion and care.
*For our Students: She is a fearless advocate who ensures every child feels seen and heard.
*For our Families: She builds bridges between home, school, and the community.
*For our Staff: She is a pillar of support and a reminder of the power of empathy and relationships.
Thank you, Ms. Hoffman for your dedication to equity, kindness, and the well-being of every individual who walks through our doors. We are so lucky to have you! 🧡 💜

We loved seeing all the fun mismatched socks on Tuesday!
Reading together at home makes such a difference.
Please send your child’s photo to their teacher so we can print and proudly display it in our classroom!
