Please help us give a warm welcome to our new ELC Secretary, Lindsay Hill! Lindsay will be the new first face in our office, and we are fortunate to have her join our school family! She is enthusiastic yet calm, has great experience working in a fast-paced office, and is eager to expand her career as a school secretary. We are so excited for you to join us, Ms. Hill!

Our very own Tara Schofield, who has been our Early Learning Center Secretary, is moving! Thankfully, she is staying with us but just moving to a new role as a Family Educator. Welcome to your next chapter, Ms. Schofield! #growingthroughplay #EMSD37Pride

Wondering more about the EMSD Forward Redistricting Plan for 2026-2027? We’ve updated our FAQ with answers to some of the most common questions we’ve received from staff and families.
One question we've heard often: How will we make space for 5th grade and more students at Ridgewood?
The Ridgewood campus will expand into part of the current Glenview building. Smaller elementary schools like Wells, Bowlesburg, and Hillcrest are projected to have around 250 students each, including 5th grade, with approximately two sections per grade.
Another key question: How will traffic be managed with more students at Glenview and Ridgewood?
Student safety is our top priority. Currently, we have approximately 1,500 students attending school at the Ridgewood and Glenview campuses. With our current projections for 26-27, we will increase to approximately 1,700 students between Ridgewood and Glenview. We are working with city officials, law enforcement, and school staff to assess traffic flow and prepare for an increase of about 200 students. Plans may include traffic pattern adjustments, additional staff supervision, more entry points, and added crossing guard support.

There was an error in the district newsletter that went out yesterday. Please note that the last day of school is a full day of student attendance, not a half day.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
