Our favorite globetrotter has officially returned! Petey the Panther is back from an incredible Spring Break trip to Puerto Rico with one of our teachers, Ms. Cardozo. Petey had a busy week soaking up the "Island of Enchantment" and representing our Little Panthers across the Caribbean!
Petey is happy to be back at school, and has brought home a suitcase full of stories! He’s officially added another stamp to his Panther Passport alongside Egypt and Mexico. ✈️

What an incredible week celebrating Read Across America! Our school was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed many special guest readers into our classrooms. It was truly a joy to see our students so engaged and enthusiastic about reading!
We are so grateful for the time and dedication of all our volunteers who helped make this week such a memorable one. Your passion for reading is contagious, and you have truly made a difference in the lives of our students.
Did you know that reading to children for just 20 minutes a day during their first five years can significantly improve their language and literacy skills, as well as their overall cognitive development?
We encourage all of our families to continue reading with your children every day! Happy reading! #EMSD37Pride #growingthroughPLAY #READon
