Today our Early Learning Center staff had the opportunity for professional learning and networking with other early childhood educators in our community, made possible by our partnership with STARNET. Dr. Elizabeth Frisbie provided valuable training to support the learning for ALL students.....through PLAY! #EMSD37Pride
Attention incoming Kindergarten families.
Ms. Davis was recognized by the Rock Island Regional Office of Education (RIROE) for the March Employee of the Month Award at the East Moline Early Learning Center. Ms. Davis has begun her journey as a paraprofessional at the East Moline Early Learning Center this school year. Prior to this, she had been a substitute teacher in various school districts since 2004. She holds an Associates Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and has had numerous and varied experiences that have contributed to her success today. She uses those experiences to shape the way that she interacts with students, their families and her colleagues. She is positive, upbeat, friendly, energetic, and patient. She understands the importance of relationships, play, consistency, and the power to reframe situations to seek solutions. Liz is kind, genuine, and connects with all students at East Moline Early Learning Center. Thank you for joining our School Family, Liz! #EMSD37Pride #growingthroughplay

Planning for the 24-25 school year is well underway! First up....Ms. Cardozo! She will be joining our Early Learning Center School Family for the upcoming school year as a Bilingual TBE Teacher. Ms. Cardozo was previously a teacher at Hillcrest, but before coming to East Moline she lived and taught in Argentina! We are beyond fortunate to welcome Yamila to early childhood, and we are excited to introduce her to our students and families.
