This year in order to update and refresh student devices, we will be collecting Chromebooks from all students currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 4th grade.
We will begin collection on Monday, May 13th and will be collecting the device, charger and stylus. Beginning on May 13th, to help with the collection, students will no longer be able to take the devices home. During the summer, the devices will be cleaned, refreshed, repaired as needed and updated. Please be sure to send the device itself and any accessories (charger, stylus) to school on May 13th.
If your child is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please give
this information to the teacher.

EMSD's last day of school this year will be Wednesday, May 29th.
Attention incoming Kindergarten families.
Wells students experienced the solar eclipse today! A special thank you to Rep Gregg Johnson and the Illinois Optometric Association, John Deere, Earth Works Landscaping, and the Hillcrest PTA who all sponsored the special glasses for our students so they could view the eclipse.
REMINDER:
-Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th is an early dismissal day. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30am, Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am.
-There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, April 10th.
Great things are happening Wells! Students are able to earn a spot at the VIP lunch table every Friday. Teachers nominate students that have 0 office referrals for the week and display a commitment to our 3 B's (Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe). Students not only get a spot at the VIP table, but they also enjoy the company of special guests along with a certificate for their accomplishment!
