10-18-24 Announcements -8th Grade Gator football team suffered a tough loss in their final game of the year last night. Their record does not dictate their impact. This was a great season that continued to get better as it progressed and we are very proud of the growth our Gators made. Shoutout to Roan Malone for being our quarterback and leader, throwing 3 touchdowns and controlling the offense. Shoutout to David Omari catching passes and a touchdown through mostly double and triple coverage all night. Shout out to Xzay Millard for catching two big touchdowns for us. Shoutout to Kevin Mwansa for his dominate play and touchdown for us. Shoutout to the whole team for sticking together and working all year. We look forward to our Gators becoming panthers, repping the black and orange next year, and continuing to help the community succeed in football. -7th grade volleyball brought in their 10th win of the season last night against Wilson. Aliyah brought her A game with her serves, winning our 3rd set with 7 serves in a row. Everyone hustled and played great. Our last game of the season is Monday at Seton. -8th Grade Lady Gators played last night against Wilson in their last home game of the season. It was a nail-biting match that kept us all on the edge of our seats, you should all be proud of yourselves for a great game! The last game of the season is on Monday at Seton. Go Gators! -Get your costumes ready! Builder’s Club is having a fundraiser! There will be a Halloween Costume Skate night on October 29 at 5pm. The cost is $10 and that includes skates. Hope to see you there! -Students wanting picture retakes must bring back the entire picture packet with them to turn into the photographer. Retakes are October 30th. -It is not too late to register for the 8th grade Washington DC trip! Everyone played great and the hustle was awesome! Great job ladies! Tonight is our last home game of the season. The theme is “pink out”. Help us fill the student section with as much pink as possible! -Yesterday was historic for Glenview Girls Tennis at the Conference. - For the Singles Consolation Bracket: Victoria Reid won second place - For the doubles Consolation Bracket: Hana Limani and Daelyn Minor won second place. Come to the front office for a new flyer. -The 7th grade volleyball team secured their 8th win of the season last night against Jordan. Alli Darras brought the heat with her serves, taking out the first set for us with 8 serves in a row, and another serve streak the second game with 9 in a row. Zariyah Deemer, Ashlyn Enes, and Claire Ebalo also killed it in the back row. Nice job ladies! -Bracelet Club will meet the first day back from break, Tuesday October 15th. 10-3-24 Announcements -Congratulations to the 8th grade football team for their victory over Washington last night. The played a tough gritty game and were able to come out on top. Shoutout to Jordan Campbell for his touchdown, great runs and defense all night. Shoutout to Kevin Mwansa for his awesome power running getting a ton of first downs. Shoutout to Adam Potter for his lockdown defense, breaking up the final pass of the game. Gators have one more game after fall break. -The 8th grade volleyball team cruised in two keeping their 4-game winning streak alive last night against Edison. Makayla Soglohun, Adysen Mallum, Marissa Loter, and Arianna Angel held it down on defense. Great work in the Front row Kayla Roman, Gabby Quick and Kierson Griffith. The next game is tonight at Jordan. Good Luck ladies! -Last night the Cross Country team had their final races of the season and ended up taking home a Conference Championship in the girls division. Tilly Brooks won first place overall and Chloe Glaub won third place. Rounding out the top 7 girls were: Mozdilifa Ali finishing 7th, Makela Anoumou finishing 11th, Maci Wright finishing 13th, Amira Elnimari finishing 18th, and Zahra Fakhri finishing 28th. These girls help to bring home 5 first place trophies in 6 races this year. Great job girls. In the top 7 boys race, the boys ran extremely well and ended up with a third place conference finish. Wisdom Dogbe cruised to a third place finish by running a personal best 12 minute flat, 2 mile race. Rounding out the top 7 boys were: Connor Adair 11th place, Abouzar Fakhri 12th place, Jax Tysma 14th place, Mazin Abdelbanat 20th place, Mahir Abdeleanat 23rd place, and David Cobos 29th place. Great job boys. In the Open races we had many of our runners set a new personal best time and many walked away with medals. Those included for the girls were: Jessica Houedou 1st place, Bayan Ahmed 2nd place, Penelope Escobar 8th place, and Mila Cross 9th place. For the boys Aristeo Teneyuque 1st place, Benjamin Nees 3rd place, Kilian Snelling 5th place, Zukhairu Garba 6th place, and Noah Ryan 11th place. Jaxon Rowlands started the scoring off with a 60 yard TD catch, Zaiden Bell and Leshawn Stbblefield added rushing Touchdowns.
