YouthHope's Summer Camp YouthHope has openings for students in low-income households, foster care, and/or at-risk situations (summer camp is weeklong, overnight camp for students entering 3rd-12th grade). Camp is no cost for students with TANF, Medical ID Card, Low-Income, or currently in foster care. If a student does not qualify, they receive a partial scholarship and pay only $75 for the week of camp. Transportation is provided as well as activities, meals, lodging, t-shirt, and lots of fun! Be in the South Cafeteria BY 6:30pm with your food to share. We will eat first and then have awards. West Music Store will also be here from 6pm to 8:30pm to help you rent your own instrument -GSA will have its last meeting of the year today in the Health Room from 2:30-4pm. - Wednesday is GSA Gator Pride Day. Students and staff are invited to wear their GSA spirit wear or rainbows to show their support for the LGBTQ community. -Latinx Workshop will meet on Wednesday after school in room 111. Thursday was teacher bingo and today staff got to build a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows for a prize. We had gift cards donated from Doc's Inn and hats donated from Kalva apparel for Teacher Appreciation Week. Thanks to all for a great week!

St. Ambrose University is delighted to announce the 15th Annual SAU Health Career Adventure Camp for 2023 middle school students that will take place (mostly) on our campus! The camp will run from July 10th - July 14th, from 9:00-4:30 Monday-Thursday, and 9:00-1:30 on Friday. SAU has planned a vast array of interactive and exciting activities from departments of Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Nursing, Exercise Science, Physician Assistant Studies, and others! There will be a day-long excursion to the University of Iowa and engage with their Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy as well! Included in registrations are many things, including: Access to all camp activities, on-site supervision, daily lunches and snacks, bus transportation to and from Iowa City on 7/13, a camp certificate, team bag, and camp T-shirt, and many others! Students who participate in the free/reduced lunch program are eligible to attend camp with the assistance of a scholarship. A limited number of these scholarships are available, so please apply soon!
