-Latinx Workshop will meet tomorrow after school in room 226. Please bring your chromebook, journal, and your creativity!
-One By One members who wish to visit St. Ambrose University during spring break are reminded to turn in a signed permission slip by March 3rd. This campus visit is open to all members. Permission slips should be turned into Mrs. Newton in the library. Please see the group's Google Classroom for more details.
-8th graders interested in cheering for UT next year, tryouts are April 8. Come to Student Services to get the flyer for more information.
-The deadline to buy yearbooks is Friday February 25. If you purchase your yearbook online the price is $16. If you pay with cash or a check the price is $18.

-Scholars traveling with Latinx Workshop to Augustana College and Casa Latina on Saturday are to meet at the main entrance at 10AM tomorrow. Dress comfortably & warmly. Speak with Mrs. Mojica if you have any questions.

Early this morning, the Illinois 4th District Appellate Court issued a ruling in the school mask debate. We are currently reviewing the guidance and will issue a statement and likely new guidelines later today. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to navigate the ever-changing circumstances.

-Latinx Workshop will not meet today. This week's meeting will take place Saturday at Casa Latina at Augustana College. Members who are interested in attending should turn in their permission slip to Mrs. Mojica today
-One By One will meet on Thursday this week. Members are invited to enjoy a movie in the library from 2:30pm -4pm. Permission slips for our upcoming college visit will also be handed out. Check out the One By One Google Classroom for details
-Attention 8th graders going on the John Deere Field Trip today: we will be leaving at 8:55 (not 8:15) from the 8th grade doors past the library. Listen for an announcement 2nd period to come to the doors.
-Today's SEL lesson will be during 6th or 7th period depending on your lunch schedule. 5th, 6th and 7th grades are doing their last lesson on self regulation, 8th grade is continuing their lesson on registration for UT.
-Yearbook club meets today after school in Room 112 until 4pm.
-Craft Club meets tonight. This is a date change.

2-15-22 Announcements
-Latinx Workshop will not meet this week on Wednesday. They will meet instead on Saturday when they visit Casa Latina at Augustana College. Be sure to turn in your permission slip to Mrs. Mojica in room 226 by tomorrow. This fieldtrip is free to attend!
-One By One members are invited to attend the February 17th meeting. It will be after school in the library. Please see the Google Classroom for One By One for more details.
-8th grade students who are in the Making Proud Choices Group - you will meet today at 10:45 in Room 345 (that is in the 5th grade hallway). If you are going on the UT visit, you will go to room 345 when you arrive back at Glenview.
-Attention 8th graders: Students going on the John Deere field trip tomorrow will be getting a reminder slip today from Ms. Borman. You will need to wear long long pants and closed toed shoes for the field trip.

EMSD and CHC will be hosting a 2nd COVID vaccine clinic TODAY, February 12, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at Glenview Middle School.
