-The spring session for Art Club meets today. Report to Miss. Boyette's room, 102, after the dismissal bell. If you are unsure if you are in the club or not, check your email for the confirmation letter, or see Mrs. Campbell in the main office.
-Chef club meets tomorrow for group 3B.

-Students who are interested in trying out for swimming or track this spring should check with the nurse to make sure your physical is up to date.
-Anyone interested in joining the swim team should plan on attending an informational meeting today at 9th period in the south cafeteria. You must complete the Google form in your homeroom to attend.

1-19-24 Announcements
-Yesterday, The 8th grade Lady Gators played their first game of the season. Although the final score wasn't in our favor, the girls showed great toughness and perseverance. All players on the team recorded a Rebound, with the Rebound leader grabbing 5 boards and the Points Leader dropping 6, shooting 2/3 from long range. Come check out the Lady Gators next week!

-Welcome back, One By One!! We will meet today after school in the library. Stop by to learn all about upcoming events for 2nd semester. We need everyone's help to decorate lockers for squad members. Speak with Mrs. Mojica or Mrs. Newton if you have any questions.

Due to the dangerously cold temperatures forecast for tomorrow morning, the East Moline School District will not have school (Tuesday, January 16) in person or through Electronic Learning. Due to inclement weather, tomorrow (Friday, January 12) will be a Snow Day for the East Moline School District. Due to the issues we had with our system for online learning, we will not hold an Electronic Learning Day until we get those fixed and make some changes. In the meantime, we will utilize a Snow Day for tomorrow and there will be no school for students and staff. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our students and employees safe.

7th grade girls basketball practice is canceled for tonight 1/11. Plan on having practice on Friday.
8th graders interested in playing football at UT: workouts have started. If you are an athlete, please continue to be with your team. If you are not in season, workouts will be Mondays Wednesday and Friday from 3:15 to 4:30 at UT. If you need more information, reach out to Coach Vroman.
