10-17-22 Announcements
-Soccer Club meets today after school. 6th graders please report to Mr. Zeiler's Room. 7th graders report to Mr. Aguirre's Room. 8th graders report to Mr. Saint Fleur's Room after the dismissal bell.
-Panther Volleyball Club travel volleyball tryouts are October 23rd at UTHS gym. 5th and 6th grade tryouts are from 5pm-6pm. 7th and 8th grade are from 6pm-7pm. You must register before tryouts. Flyers with information are available in student services
-The first Art Club meeting will be held after school today from 2:30-4pm. If you received an acceptance note to the art club, please come to room 102 at the end of the day. If you signed up for bussing, the bus will leave the school around 4:15pm. If you are a car rider, your ride will need to pick you up at the main entrance. Please email Miss. Boyette if you have any questions.
-The Lorado Taft overnight trip is Tuesday and Wednesday October 18-19th. you must wear pants, long sleeves, and shoes. DRESS FOR THE WEATHER! If you have any questions please see Ms. Staples.
-7th & 8th grade Spanish bilingual students and Latinx Workshop members are invited to walk in the 1st Dia de los Muertos parade in Moline on October 22nd. Permission slips may be picked up from Mr. Aguirre in room 301 today or tomorrow.
-Stars clubs are now forming. Above each water fountain you will see the clubs available to you. If you are interested, sign up forms are available in Student Services.

Starting in October, Builder’s Club will meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 230 to 4pm in the health room. 5th grade Builders Club students will go to the North Gym and a builders club officer will walk them to the health room
-There will be an informational meeting for 7th and 8th graders interested in cheering for basketball today in the cafeteria right after school. This meeting will be about what to practice on over fall break. Tryouts will be after fall break. See Miss Tague for any questions.
