
9-28-22 Announcements
-Builder’s Club meets 2:30-3:00 tomorrow so please have a ride ready at 3pm. Starting in October, Builder’s Club will meet on the 3rd Thursday from 2:30 to 4pm in the health room. Meetings will be in the health room. 5th grade builders club students will go to the north gym and a builders club officer will walk them to the health room
-There will be an informational meeting for 7th and 8th graders interested in cheering for basketball. This meeting will be about what to practice on over fall break. Tryouts will be after fall break. The meeting will be this Thursday in the cafeteria right after school. See Miss Tague for any questions.
-Latinas in 7th and 8th grades are invited to be a part of Latinx Workshop. We center the Latina voice, history, and culture + build a sisterhood of support for all Latinas! Applications are available in student services. Speak with Mrs. Mojica for more details.
-The One By One meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to October 13th.
-If you have lost something, please check the main Lost and Found table outside of the Library.
-Attention 8th Graders interested in attending the DC Trip: there will be an informational parent meeting this Thursday at 6:30 over zoom. Stop by Student Services for more information.
-Attention 7th and 8th Grade Football players: if you still have spirit card money, please turn that in before fall break. It is very important that you do so.
-Students interested in the Tennis Club should turn in their registration forms to Mr. Saint Fleur or Student Services by the end of the day. Please stop by Mr. Saint Fleur's Room (Room 303) at the end of the day for a quick informational meeting.
-Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students: Do you like soccer and enjoy playing the game? You are in luck. The application process for our soccer club at Glenview is currently underway. Come join the club to get active. 6th graders should keep in touch with Mr. Zeitler. 7th and 8th graders should reach out to Mr. Aguire or Mr. Saint Fleur for more information.

Aetna Better Health of Illinois is hosting Free Laundry & Literacy Day on Friday, September 30th from 2p.m. to 6p.m. at Mega Load Coin Laundry on 4200 10th Street, East Moline, IL 61244.
Free vegetables will be distributed.

REMINDER: This Friday, September 23rd is an early dismissal day.
Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am, all elementary buildings will dismiss at 11:30am.
The UTHS Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00pm downtown East Moline.


Glenview Football is moving the 7th Grade, Oct 17th, game at Gauley Field against John Deere to Thursday, Sept 29th, at Gauley Field. Game time will still be 4:15.
