Picture Retake Day for Glenview will be November 8th. Families who have an order and would like retakes, need to bring the complete order to school on retake day. Retakes will begin around 8am. Students will be called to the camera by grade.
11-6-23 Announcements
-Latinx Workshop will meet on Wednesday after school in room 113. Students in 7th or 8th grades who are looking to join a positive circle of hermanas are welcome to join. We center the Latina voice, culture, and history. Pick up an application in the office or speak with Mrs. Mojica.
-Soccer Club meets today after school. Report to your coaches after the dismissal bell.
-Bracelet Club meets NEXT Tuesday the 14th, not tomorrow.
-Reminder to 8th-grade ladies attending the John Deere Girls Day of Engineering Field Trip on Thursday, November 9th. 8:30 am -1:45 pm John Deere requires everyone to wear pants/jeans and closed-toed shoes for the event.
-What do serpents, monsters, bad hair days, losing your phone, and the Glenview Staff volleyball team all have in common? They're all things the 8th grade Lady Gators volleyball team are scared of. Come watch "Feel the Brees", "Jump Serve Johnson", "Side Out Stone", and "Tearing Down the Net Neff" defend the Staff's undefeated record tomorrow after school in the South Gym. All you need is 3 cans.

-Hey Gators, Next Tuesday afterschool come watch "Ace"eviz serve untouchables, "Flying" Fitzpatrick, the Singleton Wall, and "Ballin" Boyette crush the 8th grade Lady Gators in a volleyball match of the ages. All ya need is 3 cans to enter and a loud voice to cheer on the teachers.

REMINDER: Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Thursday evening and Friday morning. Please reach out to your student's teacher if you have not scheduled a time for a conference.

-Latinx Workshop will meet today after school in the library. Members are invited to help read names from the ofrenda. Please arrive on time in order to begin promptly. Speak with Mrs. Mojica if you have any questions.
-The 8th grade Lady Gators volleyball team had a good season but next Tuesday they will meet their match as they have been challenged by the Glenview staff. Come watch the staff destroy the 8th grade team from 2:45ish to 4:00. All you need to enter is 3 cans which will be donated to the Student Hunger Drive. Come cheer on your favorite staff member!
