Due to the increased risk of inclement weather this afternoon, Tennis Club has been cancelled.

Glenview builders club meeting and the builders pet scavenger hunt will be postponed until next Thursday and Saturday May 9 and 11 due to the higher risk for severe weather today at the time of the event.

All are invited to the Bowlesburg Craft & Vendor Fair on Saturday, May 11th from 10 am to 2 pm at Glenview.


5-2-24 Announcements
-8th graders: the dance for tonight has been postponed. We will let you know of a reschedule date.

-Attention 8th Graders - Interested in joining the UT Marching Panthers? Do you love to perform? Join us for Color Guard mini camps May 21st and 22nd. Auditions are May 24th. See Ms. Woj for more information.

•7th grade boys 3rd overall as a team with only 8 total athletes, great job boys!

Dear Families,
This year in order to update and refresh student devices, we will be collecting Chromebooks from ALL students currently enrolled at Glenview Middle School.
We will begin collection on Monday, May 20th and will be collecting the device, charger and stylus during the school day. These devices will be cleaned, refreshed, repaired and stored for next year. Please be sure to send the device and any accessories (charger, stylus) to school starting the week of May 20th. Collection dates are as follows:
8th Grade May 20
7th Grade May 21
6th Grade May 22
5th Grade May 23
If your student is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please have him or her let the technician know during the check-in process.

Tomorrow's Track conference meet will start at 3pm in Geneseo (333 Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL). The meet will start with boys field events and girls running events. After the conclusion of these events, they will swap and girls will compete in field events and boys will compete in running events. Due to the early start time of the meet, students will be dismissed early to head to the meet. It is also anticipated that the meet could last until 9:30pm. Please plan appropriately. Students who are competing have been notified by their coaches.

Attention incoming 5th-grade parents and students!
Please plan to attend the Transition to 5th Grade Parent Night. You will receive information about what it's like to be a part of Glenview Middle School , after-school clubs, and activities students can be involved in, and be able to ask questions about middle school.

-Today is the day....it's Pizza with Professionals!! One By One and Latinx Workshop members are invited to stop by the library from 2:30-4:00. Enjoy LOTS of pizza while sharing space with engineers, nurses, lawyers, and teachers as you start thinking about YOUR future career. Contact Mrs. Mojica or Mrs. Newton with questions.
-The Glenview Art and Poetry contest are both happening NOW! Please submit your original artwork to room 333 and original poem to your ELA teacher. Two winners will be selected from each grade level and will receive an award at Night of the Stars! The deadline for both is next Wednesday, May 1st
